Trace/Arson Study Group Meeting Info:
1000 hours Trace/Arson study group (in-person only) – Keyence will be demonstrating one of their digital microscopes. Study group attendees will have a hands-on opportunity to test out the capabilities. Attendees are encouraged to brings small objects that would normally be suitable for viewing under stereomicroscopy (approx. 6x to 60x) as well as slides of prepared samples that would normally be viewed under higher magnification (approx. 100x to 400x). Some examples include broken matches, items with tool marks, and mounted slides of hair/fibers or paint.

1230 hours Drugs study group (hybrid) – San Diego County drug trends, Nitazenes, and how labs are approaching reporting when GC/MS results do not match (two sampling system).
