Luncheon Meeting Topic: 
"The Bomb House" - Richard Legler
On November 18^th, 2010, the Sheriff's Communications Center received a call regarding a 49 year-old male who had suffered injuries from an explosive device located in unincorporated Escondido.  Bomb technicians soon discovered a large quantity of homemade high explosives in the backyard – the largest such cache ever found in the United States.  Improvised explosive devices, large amounts of chemicals and other high-explosive compounds were also located inside the residence.
